Taking care of trees for 50 years

Graham started the business after initially working on the big trees in London's parks and gardens. Although now 81, he is still fit and healthy and always available for advice and even a helping hand.

Mark has taken the day-to-day running of the company although likes nothing more than being out on the tools! His wealth of experience (37 years and counting) and eye for detail means you’re in safe hands.

Callum (third-generation) attended Plumpton college straight from school and passed all exams needed to obtain his tickets to become a qualified tree surgeon/arborist. He has continued to learn on the job further enhancing his skill set as a lead climber for tree shaping.

Sam also joined our team straight from school and attended Plumpton College, also qualified as a tree surgeon/arborist, and has continued his growth as a technical climber. Very capable on large takedowns using ropes and pulley systems, as well as intricate work needed on smaller trees.

In all, we work closely as a team, with everyone able to take on any aspect of the job, no matter how big or small! We are also fortunate to have part-time members (who we have worked with for many years) to call on if and when needed.

Our environment is precious!

The modern day world is becoming increasingly damaging to our natural environment. Increased pollution levels and widespread development is having a real and lasting effect on it. We realise that protecting this is becoming more and more important every day and that as a company we need to do our bit. Marshall’s Tree Services are using battery powered chainsaws and hedge trimmers as much as possible and will continue to upgrade as the technology evolves.

Our tree surgeons won’t waste a thing

At Marshall’s, we like to make sure that nothing goes to waste. Any trimmings or storm damage removals will be recycled, with woodchips and softwood used as fuel for biomass boilers, while hardwood get reused as fire logs. When you talk to our team, you’ll get great service, a great price AND you get to support a local business. It’s a win-win! Get in touch and let us know what you need.
